A sober house’s exposure fluctuates based on geography, demand, competition, etc. At SoberShetler.com, we believe operators should get what they pay for. For this reason, we are the only sober housing database that offers the Pay-Per-Click option. Every time someone clicks on your profile, you pay only $0.75.
1 Click = $0.75
Here’s how it works:
1. Deposit $150 or more in your Pay-Per-Click account
2. Every time a user views your listing, we’ll deduct $0.75 from your balance
3. Once your balance runs low, deposit more funds into your Pay-Per-Click account
4. Receive 5 free clicks per month
If a listing attracts more than 44 clicks/month or 430 clicks/year, the Unlimited plan would be less expensive.
Analytics Information
We use a third-party analytics provider (Google Analytics) to ensure your Performance Report and Billing Information is fair and unbiased. Reporting and billing information will be sent to your email within 14 days from the end of each month.
Each Advanced Listing has a counter located on the upper right hand side of the Account’s Dashboard. The counter shows the number of clicks your Advanced Listing received from day one. This counter is not a substitute for the information collected from Google Analytics.
Pageviews vs. Unique Pageviews
Pageviews is the total number times your Advanced Listing was viewed. Repeated views of your listing are counted.
Unique Pageviews is the number of times SoberShelter.com was visited and your Advanced Listing was viewed. 1 Pageview = 1 Click
Account Balance
As the account holder, it is your responsibility to maintain a positive pre-paid balance in your Pay-Per-Click account. For information regarding overages see below.
The minimum pre-paid balance is $150 and the maximum is $750. Funds can be deposited into your prepaid balance in the following amounts:

Your prepaid balance will be debited from for the Total Chargeable Clicks at the end of each month. The remaining balance will remain in your account and be charged for future clicks.
Overages
If your Advanced Listing’s Pay-Per-Click balance drops below your available funds, your listing will temporarily be converted into a Basic Listing. Your listing will convert back to an Advanced Listing once you purchase deposit more funds into your Pay-Per-Click account. Any negative Pay-Per-Click balance will be repaid through future deposits. An Advanced Listing will not be reinstated until all overages have been repaid.
Disputes
If a dispute arises regarding the validity of Performance Reports and/or Billing Information, you may request the documentation that we downloaded directly from Google Analytics regarding your Advanced Listing. Upon request, each Advanced Listing is allowed 1 free Google Analytics report in a 12-month period. $25 will be charged for an additional analytics report within the same 12-month period.

Listings are ranked using our company’s secret algorithm. This algorithm takes into consideration the following criteria:
Relevancy – If a user searches for a Men’s homes in Miami, Florida they will not be shown a Women’s homes in Las Vegas, Nevada. Users want the information they request.
Advanced vs. Basic – Advanced Listings provide users all the information they need to decide whether a sober house meets their needs and to how contact the operator. Advanced Listings also help us pay our bills. Therefore, an Advanced Listing will always be ranked above a Basic Listing of equal relevancy.
Seniority – The earlier a listing is created the higher rankings it will achieve. For example, if there are two Advanced Listings of equal relevancy, the listing that was created first will be ranked above the other listing.
